The title of the post gives away my BIG news! I’ve been awarded a media credential to the TCM Classic Film Festival for the third year in a row. I’m feeling excited and grateful to be granted the privilege of being official press yet again for the highest profile classic film event in the country. Look for more The Road to TCMFF 2018 features, a revival of my festival diary, and finally a wrap-up of the festival. In addition to sharing reporting here, I’ll be live-tweeting on Twitter under my missbethg handle, and I’ll be sharing as many Instagram stories as possible as msb3thg. Eventually those stories will be compiled for YouTube. I told you this blogger has embraced multimedia!

I am most envious of you. You hold a position I would love to be in. I LOVE vintage movies and therefore TCM is being watched or recorded almost 24/7. I am 83 yrs old so I have seen a great deal of the movies being presented but love seeing them over and over. My favorites being PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, GOOD BYE MR. CHIPS, RANDOM HARVEST, FROM THE TERRACE and of course GONE WITH THE WIND to name a few.
I am pretty much house bound so TCM means the world to me. When I saw that you were from Rio Vista it was like having a neighbor in the room, I am from Vallejo.
Your FACEBOOK site is enjoyable. Wishing you a fabulous time at the upcoming festival.

Colleen, thank you for taking the time to write your sweet comment! What would we do without TCM? It’s a comfort knowing it is always there waiting to be returned to with its movie classics and hosts. I’m very happy it brings you much happiness. I very much want to see RANDOM HARVEST! So far, I’ve only listened to a radio adaptation. Before I lived in Rio Vista, I lived in Vallejo for three years, so we were even closer neighbors then. I’ll try to have the best time at the festival, and I hope I can bring you a bit of the festival via my blog and Facebook page!
